Antique pen/quill rest, circa 1880, crafted from zinc alloy in the form of a feather quill with an owl perched on the end. The owl has yellow glass eyes and the piece is supported by four ball and claw feet. Patina consistent with age. The number 1921 is impressed on the bottom (pattern number). Believed to be made in the United Kingdom. Dimensions: approximately 10”l x 3”w x 3.25”h. A unique and stunning piece.
